Amin's opinion:
The Lenovo Ideapad Pro 5 is a great laptop for editors! It has a stunning OLED touchscreen display and a full complement of ports. If you're not a hardcore gamer and don't mind the weak hinge, it's definitely worth it.
Pros
- OLED touch panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 2.8K resolution and VRR support
- The presence of various ports, including Thunderbolt 4 and a full-size SD Card port
- High processing power and excellent compatibility with Nvidia Studio drivers for editing software
- Full-size keyboard with a very smooth typing experience, better than competitors in the same category
Cons
- The inability to open the laptop door with one hand is disappointing for this price range.
- The quality and placement of the touchpad is not impressive and increases the need for a separate mouse.
- 16GB non-upgradeable RAM
